This is a letter to family and friends of folks with MCS who consider themselves to be a Christian:
Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters,
If you have the privilege of having someone with MCS in your life, you should thank God everyday. " Why?" you may ask. Because God has gifted you with an opportunity to be more like His son. Jesus left the comfort of heaven to come to earth for our good. He also laid down His life for His friends...us. Being in relationship with someone who has MCS will mean that you may have to give up some of your own "comforts" so that they don't go into reaction. You are not asked to die for them, but to die to a way of life that may or may not be healthy for you too, if it is causing them to react. Going the extra mile for even the "least of these" gives you the opportunity to sow seeds for reaping God's blessing and it is helping you to be transformed in the image of Christ, Himself, so rejoice in your heart and hug that MCS person in your life, just make sure you don't have on any fragrance! :)
Love, Andrea.
For those of you who do not consider yourselves Christian, please do not feel left out. Since I am a Christian, I will share my spirituality as such. Feel free to share with me your perspective.
